Medical Assistant Education Day at Virginia Mason

Virginia Mason Medical Center is pleased to host a Medical Assistant Education Day (3.0 AAMA recertification credits*) on Saturday - December 10th, 2016 in our Volney Auditorium.

Topics and speakers include:

Sharing Constructive Feedback, Lynn Ernst, Ed.D., MPA, BA

Anxiety Disorders, Janiece DeSocio, PhD, RN, PMHNP-BC, FAAN

Medical Assistant Scope of Practice & Credentialing in Washington State, Vicki Grant, MS, RN-BC.

Schedule:

7:45am: Check-in and Continential Breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, light pastries, fruit)

8:30am: Program Begins

noon: Program Concludes followed by a Medical Assistant Job Fair (optional - see below)

Cost:

Free to Virginia Mason Medical Assistants (MA-Cs) - a discount code was emailed to their work email account on or around November 9th

$25 to non-Virginia Mason MA's which includes parking validation and continental breakfast.

Job Fair:

At the conclusion of the program we will be hosting a job fair. Meet members of our Medical Assistant Council and some of our clinic managers. Bring your resume / CV and your calendar to learn more about current opportunities and schedule an in-person interview for the following week (day, evening, and weekend interview times available).
